Flag of the Republic of the Congo.
The flag of the Republic of the Congo was originally adopted on August 18, 1958. It was abandoned in 1970, at the beginning of the socialist period of the "People's Republic of the Congo," but then readopted on June 10, 1991. The colours are the traditional Pan-African colours, and stem from the colours of the flag of Ethiopia. The distinctive diagonal pattern sets it apart from other Pan-African flags.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different!
