I was so excited about getting this notebook because it looked like it had a hard cover with shiny gold dots. The cover is thin and flimsy and the dots are just varying shades of yellow. I would not have paid what I paid for a small, flimsy notebook. The dots are not shiny gold how they look in the picture.

I have many of these notebooks in my home office and use them for keeping track of colors and design ideas for my Zazzle shops. They're a perfect size for my smaller desk and for popping into my tote bag if I need to take notes somewhere else. I was really happy with the print job on the glitter and metallic foil elements. I had shied away from designing with glitter because I wasn't sure it would look realistic in printer's ink. Since receiving my notebook, I've added more glittery and shiny surfaces onto my designs, knowing they'll look great when they're printed.
