"Compassion & Balance" Mandala, Black, Gray, White Round Cushion

This mandala is part a series I’m doing in which I meditate on a chapter of the Tao te Ching and then create a mandala as a reflection of it. This mandala is entitled, “Compassion and Balance” in reflection of Chapter 5. Even though we humans have a lot of room for improvement, as I contemplated this chapter and created this mandala, I am reminded of the resilience of the human spirit: that we can do some pretty remarkable things. We can overcome impossible odds. It all begins with being compassionate with ourselves and finding balance.
