Commemorative Lincoln / Lytle Park Throw Pillow
This is an up-close and personal view of the Statue of President Lincoln in Lytle Park, Cincinnati, Ohio (OH). Circa 1917. It is a keepsake of the U.S.A. Civil War, a time in history when the Republican party was steeped in values, moral issues, and a sense of right and wrong worth dying for. The statue is closely cropped of the face for drama and impact. This statue was Teddy Roosevelt's favourite statue of Lincoln, while Lincoln's son, Robert Todd, really did not like the portrayal. Donated to the city of Cincinnati by President and Mrs. Charles Phelps Taft. Sculpture by George Grey Barnard of New York, was at first shocking to Cincinnatians with its gaunt and weary features but later gained international fame. It was restored as a gift to the city by Mr. and Mrs. Eleftherios Karkadoulias and rededicated in 1972. Lytle Park was founded in Cincinnati, OH in 1903.

OMG my order exceeded my expectation’s. My products are beautiful, they were done soo well. The cushion I did was for my nephews birthday, who had his little pet chapoodle for just over 15yrs, she passed last yr. So I had some special photos as well as a photo of her paw prints and hair put on the cushion. I wanted to make it special for him. His birthday is not until Mon 27th so he hasn’t seen it yet. When he opens his present on the his special day, we are all going to have a little cry, all because of the cushion and how well it was made to bring out the best memories we have of our little Princess.
So thank you soo much for the work you did, and I will most definitely be using you again for one of my other products.
