Colourful Dreams Bumper Sticker

Colourful Dreams is a digitally manipulated photo of the beautiful Japanese Anemone (AKA Chinese Anemone, Thimbleweed, Windflower). It is from the Family Ranunculaceae and it blooms from August to November. The Japanese Anemone is a robust, spreading, perennial herb, growing up to 1.5m. Flowers are up to 5cm across and vary from white to purple. The 5 petals are slightly notched and there is a prominent ring of yellow stamens. Leaves are large (up to 15cm), palmate, crinkly and slightly sticky. The photo was taken n the summer of 2015 at VanDusen Botanical Garden, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
