Elegant image captured from a vintage Japanese kimono. An unusual colour palette of olive, magenta, coral, gold and grey on cream. The design - a crane with a rounded wingspan and a partial ume (plum) blossom - was created with the yuzen technique: stenciled with a resist, dyed, and then expertly painted.
