Colour Study: Squares with Concentric Circles Magnet

This design features an original painting by Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky (1866–1944), who was a Russian painter and art theorist. Kandinsky is generally credited as the pioneer of abstract art. The original German title of this painting is "Farbstudie: Quadrate mit konzentrischen Ringen". It is perhaps Kandinsky's most recognisable work. Colour was especially important to Kandinsky, because he was a synaesthete, i.e. he could "hear colours and "see sounds".
