This wild violet is thriving in good company amongst a wave of similar blossoms. The botannical name, Viola papilionacea, includes the Latin word for butterfly in reference to the blossom's shape. Purple violets are associated with love of all kinds, from enduring friendship to love at first sight. The inscription inside the card says "colour my soul with the brush of your love." This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
