The Victorians invented the double-shot skinny mocha latte. Unfortunately, when public demand overwhelmed the suppliers of this heady brew, riots broke out in the streets of Whitechapel. Approximately 4,000 civilians were killed, and countless more were forced to flee the country. Coffee was thenceforth banned in England, and was only reintroduced in 1995 after the catastrophic Britpop revolution.
