"Cochlea Suite" coffee mug! Coffee Mug

Although it is a small part of our bodies, the cochlea serves a very important function! Located in the inner ear, the cochlea and its components are responsible for our ability to hear. Its core component is the Organ of Corti, which is located along the partition which separates the two fluid filled chambers (scala vestibule and scala tympani) in the snail shell-shaped tube of the cochlea. This suite of paintings offers the viewer a sweeping tour of four unique perspectives of the cochlea. This beautifully diverse set of prints would be a welcome addition to any Otologist’s, ENT’s or Audiologist’s collection!

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
