CN Tower Pen by RoseWrites
A black ink ballpoint pen that doubles as a reminder that Toronto, Canada was once known as Toronto the Good. The 1898 book by C.S. Clark was titled Of Toronto the Good. A Social Study. The Queen City of Canada As It Is. "Toronto the Good" became a nickname when prohibition (outlawing the production and sale of alcohol) and strong antivice laws (e.g. illegal to rent a horse on Sunday) culminated in the Lord's Day Act of 1906. Antivice laws remained on the books until ~1950. Want your name, logo, or text added? Feel free to contact me via Zazzle or on Twitter @GetMyGist.
