Close-up photo of Pink Fairy Duster flowers. This is a shrub native to the southwestern deserts and arid grasslands in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Mexico. The botanical name is Calliandra eriophylla, Calliandra meaning "beautiful stamens" and eriophylla is Greek for "woolly leaf". Other common names include Mock Mesquite, Pink Mimosa, Stickpea and Mequitella. It is related to acacias and mimosas. They thrive in the heat and are very drought tolerant. This photo was taken along the Pine Creek Loop Trail, which can be accessed at the Ballentine Trail Head off the Beeline Highway, about 40 minutes or so from Pheonix. This is a very scenic loop trail, about 3 miles in length. This image can be transferred to other products. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
