Close the Opportunity Gap Education Reform Magnet

The term "opportunity gap" refers to the ways in which race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, English proficiency, community wealth, familial situations, or other factors contribute to or perpetuate lower educational aspirations, achievement, and attainment for certain groups of students. Fixing inequities in our culture and personal points of view will go a long way to close this gap. Also more funding for access education--like that found in community colleges--can remove barriers and level the playing field quite a bit.
