Cleopatra and Caesarion Coaster
This is an oil painting of a relief on the back wall of the Denderah temple in Egypt. It shows Cleopatra and Caesarion, her son by Julius Caesar. This picture has so many hieroglyps, meticulously produced to avoid any mistakes, that it took me months to paint this. I even had a friend who went to Egypt and to Denderah espcially to photograph the hieroglyphs for me. So everything is as lifelike as was possible for me to paint.
