Claude Monet's White Frost Sunrise (Haystacks)) Jigsaw Puzzle
Part of a series of paintings Monet did of grainstacks in the late 1880's. At least three of his paintings show these same two stacks studied under different lighting conditions.
Claude Monet (1840-1826) was one of the founders of French impressionist movement. He is perhaps most noted for his paintings of lilies and water. The term Impressionism is derived from the title of his painting "Impression, Sunrise."

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
