The poster was perfect for my bedroom with its hues and water lily themes. My granddaughter came to stay with me and slept in y room ad said she loved gazing at the poster which I had framed. She said it had a calming effect on her which I found when lying in bed. I am also thrilled that I have a poster of a painting of a wonderful French artist such as Claude Monet hanging on the wall in my bedroom. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
