Classic Dorsett Boats mug

Some of the finest classic-glass boats of the 1950s and early 1960s were produced by Dorsett, a California boatbuilder. Like other companies of the period, Dorsett offered a broad mix of runabouts and trailerable express cruisers in the 14- to 21-foot range. The coffee mug is a production of Island Boatshop, in northern Puget Sound, which has fully restored several Dorsett boats including two of the company's flagship models, the 21-foot Farallon. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
