The American Civil War was fought in the United States from 1861 to 1865. The Confederacy included the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Jefferson Davis was their President. The image is a reproduction of a colour lithograph from 1896: in the centre are Stonewall Jackson, P. G. T. Beauregard, and Robert E. Lee, heroes of the Confederacy in the United States during the Civil War. The "Duke Boys" named their Dodge Charger after Robert E. Lee.
