Civil War Era Stars and Eagle Quilt Square Poster
Patriotic United States Civil War Era Union Eagle square in a digitally created quilt style. Twenty-four off white stars surround floral pattern red and white stripes from the American Flag. An applique style vintage eagle, a popular Federalist symbol, sits in the centre of this quilt style square. This is a graphic art recreation of a quilt style that would have been made by women in the North during the war against the Confederate states in the late 1800's.
Note: some small misalignment was intentionally left in the design as it was comprised of squares and applique style pieces just as a real handmade quilt would be.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
