Maru ni Sagejou is a family crest. There are two variations: 'Agejou' where the top part is facing upwards, and 'Sagejou' where it is parallel to the lower line. The Murakami clan, who used 'Agejou', was defeated by Takeda Shingen, and their unit was dismantled. Many of them camouflaged their family crest along with their surname. However, 'Agejou' was still used as a secret crest. On the other hand, in Kansai, the Murakami naval forces thrived, so the 'Sagejou' crest was adopted. Therefore, during the Edo period, people in Kanto used 'Agejou', while those in Kansai used 'Sagejou'. (Source: 'Family Crest Stories (Upper)' by Niwa Kaji)

I was really impressed with the quality of this product, it is so sleek looking and looks really good on. I really like this style of watch and the artwork has a nice design with an urban, young vibe to it. I really like it! The artwork is really clean and tidy, it works because the Artwork design is simple and not cluttered, yet effective. It is quite a bulky watch but you get use to it after a while. Worth the buy I reckon!
