Another amazing treasure from that artist’s estate so many of my images came from. This one had French writing all over the back, clearly from a fountain pen. Fortunately no ink seeped though, to damage the fantastic colours in this poster. The bicycle maker advertised here is the same Peugeot that went on to make automobiles. I’m guessing not one of their car ads came anywhere near the awesomeness of this poster, which looks equally awesome on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including greeting cards. A beautiful card. Highest quality materials and print. Misunderstood the explanation of the gold accent. I took it as the design would be metallic in its appearance. Still a lovely card and I am extremely happy with it overall. Perfect, only that I expected the gold to be metallic.
