A wonderful poem by poet Oliver Herford (1863-1935) graces the front of this artistic unique card. "I heard a bird sing in the dark of December./A magical thing,/And sweet to remember./We are nearer to Spring than we were in September./ I heard a bird sing in the dark of December." My original artwork in dark blue and white, a variety of woodland animals in stylised foliage, is ornate and reminiscent of Delft or oriental Chinoiserie pottery.Animals include a deer, bear, bunny rabbits, birds, fox, and more. The inside sentiment is, "Season's Greetings" which makes this card appropriate for any winter occasion or even New Year's wishes. My grandson liked the card. Your cards are always great quality. I enjoyed being able to use a photo of him in the card, as these cards are keepsakes. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t get a gamer themed card. He is a very passionate gamer.
