Christmas cottages snow scene painting jigsaw jigsaw puzzle

I painted this little rural snow scene on this jigsaw puzzle as a Christmas card for my mum, the festive image reminds me of winter walks to my grandmothers, as a child we’d walk to grannies house every weekend, but walking through the thick winter snow in the festive season was extra special, very cold though! I’ve always liked walking in the snow. The row of rural country cottages are set on a slight slope in the landscape and have snow covered roofs, you can imagine a roaring fire glowing inside these cosy homes, the snow is falling and covering the hedges and roads in front ofthe cottages.
