Christmas Card for the bereaved

We often forget those who are spending Christmas alone for perhaps the first time in their lives because of losing a loved one. I've composed a poem and card to give to those who have a friend who is in this situation. The verse I wrote on the inside of the card reads: It's hard to celebrate this time, and that's ok my dear, But here's a little angel to take away your fears Although your loved one isn't here They aren't too far away I'm sure they'd like to share with you This wonderful Christmas Day This message is given from the heart Know you're thought of often You're not alone at Christmas And know you're not forgotten.
