Christmas Cactus Epiphyte Tie

The cultivars are too numerous to count, and the colours come in almost every shade. They are easy to propagate by burying a segment about a half inch in loose soil, giving it filtered sunlight and even moisture. The buds are made when the temperatures are cooler. I've also read that for best blooms you should keep the plant in a room without artificial light at night. Happy plants can live for over 100 years!
