Christ Pantocrator Orthodox Icon Image in mosaic. Pantocrator is Greek for He who reigns over all; almighty. One of the names of God. In Orthodox art, this mosaic fresco image depicts Christ as the almighty God and Lord of the Universe. In the New Testament Bible, Pantokrator is used once by Saint Paul (Second Corinthians 6:18). Aside from that one occurrence, the author of the Book of Revelation is the only New Testament author to use the word Pantokrator. The author of the Book of Revelation uses the word nine times. Similar iconic images of Christ as ruler of heaven and earth are often seen in Eastern and Byzantine churches.

I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her. Unfortunately my first order was deemed lost in the mail which meant it didn't arrive in time to give my daughter when she finished Uni.
