Children Wading on the Beach (by E.H. Potthast) Fleece Blanket

This design features a painting by the American Impressionist painter Edward Henry Potthast (1857–1927). It depicts a group of children wading in water as the waves lap against their feet on a beach located on the east coast of the United States of America. The scene may be Brighton Beach in New York City, where Potthast often came to paint. The boys are wearing shorts and the girls are lifting up their dresses, so that their clothes don't get wet. The girls are wearing bows in their hair. There is also a woman with her son in the background. Everyone is having fun at the beach in this vintage scene of American life. The original artwork was painted by E.H. Potthast in 1920.
