Checkerboard Lounge Vintage Chicago Blues Show Wood Poster

The Checkerboard Lounge was one of the best know blues clubs on Chicago's South Side. The performer's name is customizable. I have added Lefty Dizz & Shock Treatment. Lefty was a regular performer at the Checkerboard. In the 70s and 80s he did the weekly Blue Monday shows. You can change the name to whatever you like. Many other Chicago blues legends played The Checkerboard including Buddy Guy, who was a part-owner of the club, Junior Wells, Muddy, the Wolf, Little Walter & Sonny Boy Williamson.

A lovely and loving addition to our home. The wood like background is subtle and a nice touch. I did not realize the pictures would present a little darker or I would have lightened them. That’s the only reason for the four rather than five star rating. Colors of the photos turned out darker than expected. Overall printing was good.
