This is a quality reproduction of "Chariot of Apollo," created by Odilon Redon, circa 1912.It was created as an oil and pastel on canvas and is in the collection of the Musée D'Orsay, Paris, France. In this masterpiece, Redon depicts the Greek sun god Apollo as he rides his chariot across the heavens. Redon was a French Symbolist painter known for his paintings of mythology and flowers. Although he was a contemporary of Monet and Renoir, Impressionism was not for him. Redon preferred an art of subjectivity and imagination. He was regarded by many of the Surrealists as their precursor. This image has been professionally restored by us. It has been retouched where faded and colours have been enhanced. ~ "Chariot of Apollo" is available as a poster or a canvas print. Framing is also available.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
