Chapman Clipper Ship Historical Repro Poster
MERCHANT’S EXPRESS LINE OF CLIPPER SHIPS FOR SAN FRANCISCO, DISPATCHING MORE VESSELS THAN ANY OTHER LINE. THE NEW A 1 CLIPPER SHIP I. F. CHAPMAN. MILLER, COMMANDER. AT PIER 10 EAST RIVER. This clipper is double strapped, a very fast sailor, insures at extremely low rates, has nearly half her cargo engaged, carries only 2,000 tons, and will have my usual quick dispatch. RANDOLPH M. COOLEY, 88 Wall Street, Tontine Building These vintage natuical advertisements created between 1850 and 1860, were originally distributed in playing card sizes. They were issued by dispatch lines to advertise specific voyages of clipper ships from one port to another. Mostly New York or Boston to San Francisco. Presented by timelessprintsonline.com

The poster is cut off on te left and right side. So she is incomplete. The collors are good.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
