The poster displays some of the "official portraits" , from the first, dated 1705 in a Dutch edition, but French translation of his Exemplary Novels. The poster includes a facsimile of Cervantes' signature. Don Quixote was first published in 1605 and it's continuation in a second part was published in 1615. Our postcards commemorate both the IVth Centenary, which started in year 2005 and will end in 2015, and the 30th. Anniversary of the TV series.
