CERTIFIED PENMONKEY -- Coffee Mug

Ordering this mug was so, so easy... it was a matter of clicking on the item I wanted, then picking the colour I wanted and putting through my payment details and postal address! Yes! That easy! Because I ordered it over Christmas, it took a little while to get here, but it was something to come home to! And I love it! It's a massively big mug! The handle is just comfortable and I can fit my fingers all the way around it, and not have the uncomfortable pinching - unlike other mugs I've bought for myself - and it holds the heat really well! I love this thing! Beautiful! I love it! Very colourful and precise! I'm not big on monkeys normally but this guys's a cutie!

I purchased this fine piece of paraphernalia to celebrate my first short story sale since 1998. I was gratified to discover that the price of the mug, including shipping, was just under the amount I was promised as payment for around 4200 words of (mostly) English. Sold! As I gazed upon the smooth white sides of this mug, I noticed the hieroglyphics to the left and right of the mascot. I puzzled at the images, and understood that if one were to pour coffee or tea into the mug, said caffeinated beverage would be violently ejected. I'm not fond of wearing scalding, wet pants (truly, not fond of wearing pants, period) so I opted for the beverage this mug is obviously intended to hold. The image to the right of the dazzling illustrated Penmonkey clearly indicated that this mug is intended to hold liquor. Ever one to follow directions, I dropped in a couple of ice cubes, floated them with Jameson Irish whiskey, and topped it all with a splash of water. The liquor stayed in the mug, at least for as long as it took me to drink it. WARNING: Does not protect against facebees. My eyes are a little blurry right now, but everything looks FANTASTIC!

I ordered my mug on March 16 and received it yesterday, March 23. The ETA was for Monday the 25th, so I actually got it a few days earlier than estimated. It came wrapped in what I deemed an entire roll of bubble wrap, which I was very pleased about. My only complaint would be that the wording is a bit fuzzy, but not so that it's illegible. I ordered my "Penmonkey" mug because I am so in love with Chuck Wendig's writing, I simply couldn't resist buying it as a reminder for me to keep trucking with my own writing. Overall, I would recommend making this purchase to everyone and can admit that I'll be buying from Zazzle more often. I give it 4 stars due to the fuzziness of the print.
