Cepheus B and C Green Nebula Card

The stunning image of a ghostly green nebula in the Cepheus B and Cepheus C region of deep space was taken by the NASA Spitzer Space Telescope in infrared light. It’s something of a family portrait, as it includes both new and old stars and collections of celestial objects including a star cluster and pillar, a young nebula, a runaway star and the large star V374 Ceph surrounded by cosmic dust and debris. The Spitzer Space Telescope has been in orbit nearly 16 years and continues to produce outstanding images of the Universe.
