Central Banking is Marxist Bumper Sticker

Plank five of the Communist Manifesto calls for the centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. Marx was an advocate of fiat money and central banking in an age of free banking and the gold standard. Today, so-called free countries have centrally planned monetary policy controlled by cartels headed by unbelievably powerful central banks. How powerful? Between 2008 and 2010, the United States Federal Reserve created and lent out over $14 Trillion to foreign and domestic firms secretly - an amount of money larger than America's public debt that has accrued since it's founding. Today's central banks certainly are not Marxist, they are something arguably worse.
