This Celtic intertwining animal pattern was derived from a page from the Lindisfarne Gospels. The Lindisfarne Gospels is an illuminated manuscript gospel book produced around the year 700, presumably by a monk named Eadfrith, in a monastery off the coast of Northumberland at Lindisfarne and which is now on display in the British Library in London. The manuscript is one of the finest works in the unique style of Hiberno-Saxon or Insular art, combining Mediterranean, Anglo-Saxon and Celtic elements. The gold colour can be customised.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different!
