The Night Sky as an illustration of the Celestial Moon Ursa Major, Mars, and Mercury
This vintage illustration is about celestial figures. They are shown as mythological gods and goddesses. The vintage constellation image is from a book published in the 1800s. The Moon Goddess, called "Alla Luna" shows the Goddess Luna, the Roman moon goddess, clinging onto the top of her crescent moon, apparently running from a star-clad bear played by Ursa Major, the Great Bear constellation, and a Roman soldier casually strolling in, playing Mars. Relaxing in the back atop a mountain, reading "the gazette," is Mercury. This constellation illustration is a wonderful vintage star and moon image perfect for the astronomer in your life. I have just received my order and everything lools great until I noticed the wrong month was detailed on the invitations! I took a screenshot of what i had ordered online before purchasing, and the month was the right month, Im just guttered it came out wrong! I dont want to spend another 80 90 bucks on these invitations as I am trying to save what little I have for other things for my big day! 😭😭😭. Everything looks great beside the wrong details 😭
