Ad for Le Chat Noir Cafe, Paris, c.1896 Theophile Alexandre Steinlen (1859 – 1923) was a Swiss artist who became immersed in the avant-garde world of the Chat Noir Café after moving to Paris’ bohemian Montmartre section. In Paris, he created over 400 Art Nouveau illustrations, as well as advertisements and stylised nightclub posters, which often featured cats. So personal and very much a product of today's market. I personally purchased the Mug for myself to stop others from taking it LOL 😆 However this would make the perfect personalised gift for anyone - I am thinking Work Christmas gift etc I like my coffee so I only wish the mug was slightly bigger. The Avatar I choose came out PERFECTLY it really does look spot on.
