    Austrian psychiatrist Sigmund Freud (1856 - 1939), the founding father of psychoanalysis, loved cats, as this wonderful quote on our mousepad testifies: "Time spent with cats is never wasted." The great words are matched with an equally great painting by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Takahashi Shotei (1871 - 1944). Called "Tama" (white cat), it features a beautifully serene and contented white cat with beautiful yellow eyes.
