Although this design depicts a retro style compact cassette, it is also bang up to date in its styling, with a contemporary and almost tribal swirling motif. During the 1980s and into the 1990s, the cassette was the nearest equivalent to today's MP3s or CD-Rs, because it was the medium onto which you could record at home and create masterful mix tapes for your friends.
