About This Design

Cardinal in Front of Pine Tree Winter Paper Coaster

A bright male cardinal pauses for a moment on a backyard fence before enjoying some delicious nuts and seeds. This photo illustration brings a whimsical feel to a natural winter scene that is perfect to enjoy while warm inside your home. I photographed this cardinal one day in my backyard during the summer, but by cutting him out and placing him in front of a second photo of my pine tree and adding a filter, he fits the winter scene beautifully! Cardinals do visit my yard during winter and I sometimes photograph them during the season, but this bright red male is one of my favourite I've captured of the bird, and I wanted to share it with you. My parents really loved these. Am really happy with how they turned out and that they're purchased individually, so you can order however many you want. Bought these at the same time as another gift but this item didn't turn up. Contacted Zazzle about this and they were on it straight away and immediately re-ordered more. Ended up with 2 sets as the 1st set turned up days before the 2nd set. Customer service was excellent. Printing turned out great, nice and clear.

This is the second order of these coasters - I love the quality and that I can design them myself to fit my decor and when they are getting old and stained I can recycle them and order more! .
