Card/ Invitation: "Whirlwind of Lovers by W. Blake Invitation

"Whirlwind of Lovers" was created by William Blake, circa 1826-1827. It was commissioned as an illustration to "Dante's Inferno" but was never completed, possibly due to Blake's death in 1827. It was made as a watercolor. The series of illustrations for "Dante's Inferno," including "Whirlwind of Lovers," remains one of William Blake's most important works. "Whirlwind of Lovers" currently resides in the Birmingham Art Gallery. You can customise the inside of the card with your own greeting or party information, or simply delete the text if you would rather have a blank card.
