Cannon & Flag Ornament

This 2" x 2" metal ornament features a patriotic image of American History in the form of a multi-exposure image from a Civil War Battlefield site. I layered an image of the American flag over an image of the cannons on Antietam Battlefield, a key location in the Civil War. Now a National Park, the cannons have been left positioned in a field as they were on September 17, 1862, when some 23,000 lives were ended in a 12-hour long combat. Ornaments make great gifts, especially for the history buffs.
