Every year we see lots of these birds, but other than at the zoo, this is the closest I've ever been able to get to them, and as unconcerned as they seemed to be by me, I think I might have been able to get even closer. But I decided not to try. (Ever been pecked by an angry goose? Painful! And there were about 20 in this flock.)
