Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), known simply as Hokusai, was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. Ohara Koson, Ohara Hōson, Ohara Shōson, (1877-1945) was a Japanese painter and woodblock print designer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, part of the shin-hanga ("new prints") movement. Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) was an important artist in the Shin-hanga movement.

Before purchasing, I contacted Naomi about the recommended size and layout. She recommended the single page so that the front cover will look right. She also recommended either the small or medium size. I purchased the medium size calendar, single page layout per month, and I love it! The photos are beautiful! I understand that the smaller size is 11" x 7" and I wanted something larger than that. The medium size measures 16.5" x 10.75". The images look great!
