When I was a small child I sometimes imagined that butterflies were tiny angels. My favourites were the very small blue butterflies. This childhood memory is what made me paint this butterfly-like angel. She is playing her flute and tiny blue butterflies are dancing to the tune.

I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her. Unfortunately my first order was deemed lost in the mail which meant it didn't arrive in time to give my daughter when she finished Uni.
