Burnt Saffron Quiet Socks

This piece feels like a warm, restrained ambient track shaped by patience and breath. Soft harmonic pads drift slowly, coloured with muted strings and granular textures that shimmer like heat haze. The rhythm is barely present, more implied than stated, allowing space for subtle tonal shifts and gentle crackle. The sound carries a sense of weathered calm, like sunbaked earth holding old memories, tender rather than violent, reflective rather than loud. This watercolor design was hand-painted by my mother, Meghan Humlie. I have her permission to use this image.
