BUFFALO BILL MONTAGE POSTER
Six classic show posters from the span of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show years.
Annie Oakley (born Phoebe Ann Mosey August 13, 1860 – November 3, 1926) was an American sharpshooter and exhibition shooter. Oakley's amazing talent and timely rise to fame led to a starring role in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show, which propelled her to become the first American female superstar. Using a .22 calibre rifle at 90 feet Oakley reputedly could split a playing card edge-on and put five or six more holes in it before it touched the ground. "Little Sure Shot," Buffalo Bill's star attraction.
Gordon William Lillie (1860 to 1942) became famous as the Wild West showman and performer Pawnee Bill. In 1908 Pawnee Bill and Buffalo Bill joined forces and created the Two Bills show. That show was foreclosed on when it was playing in Denver, Colorado. After the show closed, Lillie returned to his ranch to live full time. William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody (February 26, 1846 – January 10, 1917) was an American soldier, bison hunter and showman. He was born in the Iowa Territory (now the American state of Iowa), near Le Claire. He was one of the most colourful figures of the American Old West, and mostly famous for the shows he organised with cowboy themes. Buffalo Bill received the Medal of Honour in 1872. William F. Cody died of kidney failure on January 10, 1917, surrounded by family and friends at his sister's house in Denver.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
