This is a quality reproduction of "Buddha and the Flower" by Odilon Redon, circa 1906. Redon made five artworks of the Buddha between 1904 and 1908. In this artwork, the Lord Buddha is holding up a rather large flower. (Note: "The Teaching of the Flower" is one of the lessons in Buddhism.)
Odilon Redon was a French Symbolist artist known for his paintings and drawings of flowers, mythology, and spirituality. Although he was a contemporary of Monet and Renoir, Impressionism was not for him. Redon preferred an art of subjectivity and imagination. He was regarded by many of the Surrealists as their precursor.
"Buddha and the Flower" is available as a poster or a canvas print. Framing is also available.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
