Bubu Wished Joy to All Return Address Label

As Bubu, the Andean Bear, prepares for his final journey to freedom, the Andean Bear Foundation would like to wish all of his many friends a joyful holiday! We hope you will enjoy this card that commemorates our journey with him, and that you will continue to think of him in the New Year as he roams the high Páramo of Ecuador, and will continue to support the other Andean Bears who follow in his footsteps. The Andean Bear Foundation would like to thank photographer Paul Bamford for graciously travelling to Yanahurco for a photo shoot and then donating all the images to us! Originally from the UK, Paul Bamford is an environmental educator currently managing a community development and conservation project at an indigenous community in the east of Ecuador. “Visiting Bubu was a real highlight of my time in Ecuador so far. The release site has some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country, with wildlife thriving thanks to hunting having been prohibited there 20 years ago.”
