I was a bit worried by the 1.4 lb shipping weight. However, I was very pleased when I got my hands on the product. It is very sturdy, the colors are beautiful, and it seems to work just fine. It's unique, and I'm glad I found it. I enjoy looking at this clock and seeing my spouse enjoy the clock. It may be just s click, but it really is fun to own.
